The practice rounds
Monday to Wednesday. The players are relaxed, the Par 3 Contest is on the Wednesday, and you can walk the course properly. Many who have been often prefer it to the tournament.

Augusta is a small city. The established arrangement is a private residence let for the week, and those are committed a long way out.
Dates, tiers and price come back together, and only once the route is confirmed. Nothing here is held until you ask for it.
